Technical Difficulties

Needless to say, February wasn't exactly the best month for me.
As some of you may know, I was due to upgrade to a new computer about half way through the month - but not only did my old machine blow up on me, so did the new one - On the same day!

Tip: Ever cleaning a CPU Fan? DO NOT remove the blu-tac like thing on the back.
And yes, thats what I did to the new machine- Whoops! (It's Termal Cement)

So, I was then moved over to an older machine running Ubuntu 7.04 which at the time only had an ethernet port, which isn't much use for me since my machines are all wireless.
I managed to recover one of the wireless cards from my old machine and slapped it in - Only, it then took three days before I was finally able to get the damn thing working, which even then only gave me a limited capacity to do anything.

Best of it is however, on the fifth day (Friday) a CD came. Ubuntu 8.10 - Intrepid Ibex. I had ordered the disk a few weeks prior as an upgrade for the Ubuntu system (plus they make excellent recovery CDs) so I installed that on that machine and poof - The Wireless worked out-of-the-box no problems what so ever straight after installation. Typical!

A few days after that that machine went to my sisters for her to use since her computer had blown up too! But in exchange my brother in law had a new machine waiting for me that he had brought when my original blew up (Damn thing is basically one giant fan o.O;)

I'm using that machine now, with the hard-drive from my original machine setup as a Slave HD. Which means I still have all the Journal Files, so whats the problem?

Been a slave drive, and thus a different drive letter my old Frontpage installation refuses to run as an invalid install, and despite Office 2007 been installed on the main HD that doesn't include Frontpage, which in turn means I haven't been able to do much work for the journal even now.

I have two disks coming in the post for Office 2007 with Frontpage, and another with Dreamweaver; although I don't know when they'll arrive, especially with the post nowadays.

I've done this up quickly using Notepad++ mainly to explain the current situation and mention about the essential peice of information:-
