The third Guild's contest
Dear noble Lords and Ladies,
because of the overwhelming success of the Second Guilds' contest, His Royal Highness has decided to set up a new contest, for all those guilds who are willing to put their prowess to the test!
Once again, it is time for all proud guild-members to unite, to put your efforts together to the one common goal, the desire to win this contest.
Our spies on the trading routes have sent messages to the king revealing the sailing of a massive flotilla of battleships towards our shores. They carry fire and men in abandon and should arrive here too soon to allow us a chance to build a real fighting fleet.
The King has thus ordered that all ships, fishing boats and schooners capable of being armoured and outfitted with cannons and sails be put to the defence of the coast from the ill-tempered Armada en route to our shores. The Shipyards are thus ordered to make and send to the navy as many boats as possible. They have to be at least q4 to be able to be outfitted with the king's cannons and carry men to war.
That is why the King now needs the help of all his well-meaning citizens and provosts.
Send boats quality 4, as many as you can produce and purchase. For your efforts, those guilds sending in the largest amount of boats, will be honored with golden, silver or bronze cups, and the Lord above will smile on all of you, and your gratitude!

Our editors have been contaminated with the Black Plague (the Lord be merciful on them), that is why the announcement is one day late.
To send in your products, enter your guilds' menu, and find the respective button.
As this is not a regular contest, but a guilds' contest, the products will not have to be sent to the city "contest", but via your guilds' menu!
And now for the regular contest
Product: Honey q2
The early onset of winter has brought chilly winds into the countryside and a large number of townsfolk haven't turned up for work with messages of flu and fever spreading amongst other scare whispers.
The court physician has however been visiting the houses of the sick and discovered the most suffer no more than simple colds... The truants have been trumping up the sickness to get more days off work!
He has recommended the simple remedy of hot tea with a spoonful of honey for sore throats and wheezy noses. Alas, the last collection of honey was stolen and eaten by a certain bunch of Swiss beers. The master of the King's stores has thus sent out messages to our farmers around the realm to send in some good quality honey. Since this is meant for medicine, only honey made from decent bees would be acceptable. Thus only honey q2 is requested.
Please send in your submissions of q2 honey to the city "contest" for 0.10 [ct] each by 11-10-2009 23:59:59 for consideration.
