Welcome
to this, the fourth edition of the Regnum Journal.
This week follows a special edition for the fast arriving Chinese New Year
which arrives this year on the 7th of February.
The Chinese New Year is celebrated by Asians, and other cultures all over the
world where there is a significant Chinese population, and has a long history
dating back as far as the Qin Dynasty,
221 - 206 BC.
In this edition I will be talking about some of the more popular aspects of
the Chinese New Year, the history and traditions - All of which is quite
fascinating. Also for this week I've looked into a Chinese dish used since the
early medieval era for Noodles, or more specifically Longevity Noodles, a
traditional food during the Chinese New Year which symbolizes long life - Just
be sure not to cut them!
Also covered in this edition is the results of the first Contest for the
server, and once more the guide about the
IRC Chat built into
Kapi-Regnum; not to mention a new Interview with one of our Players.
Otherwise keep sending your suggestions in for ways to help us improve the
content here in the Journal for you, the readers. Different sections have
different subject titles to make it easier for us to review them to check for
suitability and how they may be implemented.
Take a look at the
Journal Contributes
article for details.
Otherwise don't forget to sign up for the
Forums
if you've not already done so, and perhaps join the rest of us in the IRC chat
after reading it's article on chat behaviour and other general information.
See you next time in the next edition of the Regnum Journal.
What will be the next theme? You'll have to wait and see.
