Dear noble Lords and Ladies,
we hope you are all in full Christmas-spirit already - if not, we've got just the thing for you: Exciting new contests revolving all around the festival of light, filled stockings, gingerbread, decorated fir-trees and much more!
But before we give you all the details on that, we'd like to point you to our latest updates - in case you hadn't noticed them yet!
[u]The update includes:
1. We have added 13 new quests to the game, so there are now 20 quests in total.
The first two quests each player will receive will now also contain an info-text telling them what the dark shape is and what players need to do to complete these quests.
2. There are now two new special buildings (public buildings), which will enable you to complete tasks, send goods to and receive reputation in return.
The new buildings are:
The Royal Armoury
The Royal Vegetable Garden
3. There also is a new administrative building (upgrade of special buildings). This will allow you to upgrade several special buildings with just one click.

And now, let's get to the most important topic: The contests!
As you may all know, Christmas is a time to celebrate with your loved ones... and possibly also to indulge in sweets and other delicacies. The King therefore is planning another great feast. All the country's nobles are expected to make their way to the Royal Palace, no matter how far the journey. Not only does the King tend to bear a grudge if his invitations are declined, but his feasts are also legendary: even the leaders from far-off countries tend not to miss out on them.
But (yes, of course there is a but) this all comes at a price. Preparations tend to start months ahead, and even then, it's difficult to provide for such a large amount of guests and have everything ready just in time. This year, it's the roast geese that the Royal kitchen seems to be short of. And what would Christmas be without a fat, roast goose on your plate? Right, nothing! So please send in as many roast geese as you can gather, quality 9, please. Only the best of the best for the Royal guests!
Well, that would cover the food. But what about the decorations? The Royal tailors are at a loss what to do: they were planning on decorating the great hall with beautiful silken hangings. Alas, it seems the Royal stocks are sadly lacking... hardly enough silk to prepare even one single hanging, let alone hangings that would cover the great hall. What to do? This goes out to all you guilds: Provide the poor tailors with as much quality 8 silk as you can lay your hands on!
