The Forums

The official game board of kapi-regnum is a place to meet other people.
Most of you are already aware of the forums, but there are still some people not using the forums.
So maybe this article can give you some reasons why you should have a look at the boards.

Why should I visit the board?

The board is a place where you can get in contact to other users. You can exchange general experiences, suggest improvements of the game or get help from other players if the in-game help files do not answer your questions about features in the game.

And since a great part of the game is trading with other people, there is also a large trade section. Where you can try to find a buyer for your wares or maybe a seller if you need something. But there is much more than that, just explore it yourself.

Can I use a signature?

Of course. Simply visit your Profile to add them automatically to your post; Be aware in posts there is also an option to choose whether or not to add your signature to that posting.

There are some basic rules to observe with Signatures
- A maximum amount of 4 lines, lines including images & spaces.
- The images cannot be higher than 150 Pixels.
- All of the images together cannot be larger than 50 kB
There are still players using a modems/ISDN connections
- The Signature should not exceed a width of 550 Pixel.
Signatures exceeding any of these limits will be deleted.

General Etiquette

As the saying goes;
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you ..."

This basically means your own behaviour may be reflected by others back towards you. If you treat someone nice and friendly you can expect the same in return, likewise for if you treat someone with disrespect.

Not just on the forums, but also with in-game messages you should treat everyone with respect and politeness.

Be aware that every player on Kapi-Regnum is unique, and the citizenship is built up of a range of cultures. Stay clear of racist comments as you cannot be sure you are not offending someone, even accidentally.

How do I have to behave on the board?

Be kind to each other. There always is another person at the end of the line, expecting the same respect of you that you yourself demand of your fellow human beings!

This first paragraph of the General Board Rules topic gives you a short idea how to behave. But it is recommend to read this topic, because there is more to observe: http://kr.forenserver.de1.cc/viewtopic.php?t=2

Are there special restrictions in the trade section?

Yes, however these rules should be very simple to follow and help to prevent any large amounts of spam on the forums.

1. In every sub-forum of this section each city is only allowed to have one topic. You usually can edit every post you made except in the auctions sub-forum, so if your price changes or you want to sell something else, just edit the first post of your topic.
If your topic has been locked since it was marked closed simply contact one of the moderators to have it unlocked.

2. Up-post only every 24 hours. To get your topic to the top of the list, you create so called up-posts. Please be fair to the users that cannot be online all the time and use this only once a day.
Many players use the term Bump, which means Bump Up My Post.

3. No discussions in the trade section.
This will also keep somebody's topic at the top of the list, so please don't start discussions in the trade section.
Also be aware the editor of the topic might not want to have posts in his topic telling him that his price is too high or something like that, so please be considerate of peoples prices.

4. If you want a thread to be closed, because your offer is finished, please add the word "closed" to the title.
It's sometimes an idea to leave what you were selling or buying infact on the first post, but with a second note to say the offer has finished. This helps people to see what price range a product was selling for and gives them an idea what prices to set themselves.

5. There are special rules if you want to start an auction.
Please read the rules before starting an auction: http://kr.forenserver.de1.cc/viewtopic.php?t=6
