Despite problems early on with the uncertainty of what quality was actually
supposed to be submitted due to an error on my end that was quickly solved on
the first day, a gradual influx of Geese started to appear both at the
Competition Gates, and at the Market.
The sheer sound at the Competition Office was almost unbearable as the
quartermasters began unloading and counting the sheer amount of Geese from where
they came from, as well as ensuring they were of the correct quality, and of
course geese, not chickens.
While many of the Geese will be roasted for the reception of the various
ambassadors from these mysterious lands across the sea others will be kept in an
attempt for them to lay eggs.
Others will be carefully plucked, and their feathers used as high quality Quills
for the King himself, Librarians, and Story Writers.
The King has now sent his couriers out to various towns and cities across the
country carrying everything from Medals, to Contest Certificates, and should
have already arrived to many.
The Quartermasters reported receiving Geese from a total of 153 Cities, with 135
of those delivering more than 10,000 Geese.
In total they counted approximately 57,388,458 Geese were sent
in for this Competition, and even now the noise of them
all can be heard several miles out of the capital.
