Riding School

With diplomatic tensions easing after the meeting last week the King has
decided to incorporate a new scheme across the country to hopefully eventually
open up the area to other countries too.
The scheme is to build several large riding schools across the country to allow
people to learn how to ride on horseback, while at the same time teaching the
horses to carry people.
It is the hope that people will learn that knowledge and pass it on to others
in other countries who come to visit earning a better economy for the country
and opening up a trade route of trained horses too for carrying goods, or
transporting.
The price is rather small given that the horses do need to be of a reasonable
quality already but it is the hope that the prizes will outweigh the cost and
allow for several thousand horses to be bred.
The King is offering 90 cT for any Quality 1 Horses
delivered to the city Contest before the deadline to get the
schools up and running as soon as possible.
This contest begins on Monday, 5th January 2008,
And ends on Friday, 23th January 2008 at 23:59.
To enter this contest and to have a chance at winning one of
the prizes listed to the top right of this page simply send many
Quality 3 Horses as you can to the city
Contest priced at 90 cT.
I'd normally incorporate a higher price for Horses, however there seems to be
a limit in place of 99.99 cT for the delivery cost to the contest, so 90 cT was
set to make it easier to send in.
After a short discussion with a few members of
Kapi-Regnum it has been decided to resume the competitions back to two weeks
starting again in the next edition of the Regnum Journal. These will however be
more or less a full two weeks - starting Monday, and finishing on a Sunday.
This was originally an oversight on my part when moving the Regnum Journal
release dates from Fortnightly to Monthly, as with the competitions stretching
out an entire month there is no time for the market to settle down again between
the two competitions so it also affects other produce in the long run.
Please be aware that premature to this change one week has been slashed from the
original ending date of the competition. Instead the contest will now end on
Friday the 23th of January, 2009.

How does the Competition Work?
The Selected product may or may not be produced in a high
quantity and often the product is selected to give a more fair chance to every
player whether a beginner or long-term member.
The selected quality and retail price of the product to send is included in
every announcement, however sometimes the product itself may be hidden with only
a clue in the competition story.
Generally competitions are not suitable for the newer players or smaller cities
due to the amount needed to have a fair chance in the standings. However they
can sell the required product or something needed to produce them to those who
are willing to pay enough to earn one of the above prizes since high yields are
usually the target for these competitions.
On the last day of the competition at 23:59 the competition office
is then
closed until the next contest date is made available.
The winners are indicated in the competition listings.
