Market Criers all across the country were calling out the famous phrase
before beginning a long speech directly from the King.
Diplomatic relations were going well, so well in fact that our neighbours
plan to visit the country in the coming weeks!
Rather then appear poor which could affect the relations by royal degree it
is soon to be made law that every citizen should have at least one pair of shoes
to hide dirty feet and mask any smell!
Citizens will not have to pay for the shoes however as funds are been
gathered by the royal family to pay for all the shoes from weavers across the
entire country and will see to it the shoes are then handed out to every
citizen!
The King is offering a huge 40 cT for any Quality 2 Shoes
delivered to the city Contest in the effort of improving the overall
appearance of our population. The quality ensures they won't be damaged or worn
too quickly either, while still providing comfort.
This contest begins on Monday, 9th February 2009,
And ends on Friday, 20th February 2009 at 23:59.
To enter this contest and to have a chance at winning one of
the prizes listed to the top right of this page simply send many
Quality 2 Shoes as you can to the city
Contest priced at 40 cT.
For Those wondering 'Oyez' derives from the Anglo-Norman
word for 'Listen' and means 'To Hear', or 'Hear Ye' as would be said in the late
medieval era, particularly in England and Western Europe.
Marker Criers would usually shout out this word three times while ringing a bell
to gather people to attention. Their actual name is also a City Crier, however
this alternative came about from the fact they usually stood in the busiest part
of the town:- The Market Place!

How does the Competition Work?
The Selected product may or may not be produced in a high
quantity and often the product is selected to give a more fair chance to every
player whether a beginner or long-term member.
The selected quality and retail price of the product to send is included in
every announcement, however sometimes the product itself may be hidden with only
a clue in the competition story.
Generally competitions are not suitable for the newer players or smaller cities
due to the amount needed to have a fair chance in the standings. However they
can sell the required product or something needed to produce them to those who
are willing to pay enough to earn one of the above prizes since high yields are
usually the target for these competitions.
On the last day of the competition at 23:59 the competition office
is then
closed until the next contest date is made available.
