An Experimental Failure!

The Weavers Guild has once more put in an urgent request to the capital.
Apparently they now have a huge stockpile of Flax thanks to all those who sold
to them to keep up their supply, however
they've since used up a large portion of their Wool supply through experiments to dye it into a fine golden brown by mixing Smashed Beets with
Water to create a dye ...
They believe they have now found the right mixture of Beets and Water to create
a fine colour for the Wool to allow them to create a different colour of
clothing to sell on the market, and hope to experiment with other mixtures later
to create an even larger variety of dye for the clothing so everybody doesn't
all look like identical twins!
The Capital has given the Weavers Guild a grant to purchase Wool from the
various citizens whether they are Freemen, or Barons to fuel this research of
the Dye, and of course for a better selection of clothing for everyone to
purchase and wear at a range of prices.
Even without the dye they have used up such a large supply of Wool that the
productivity of clothing has dropped so considerably that many of the citizens
all across the country are once more freezing from a lack of warmth that even
the most basic clothing provides!
The Weavers are requesting as much Quality 0 Wool as the citizens can
send, and this time are willing to pay a much higher cost towards the production
of this resource at 0.75 ¢τ.
This contest begins on Monday 3rd March 2008,
And ends on Friday, 14th March 2008 at 23:59
To enter this contest and to have a chance at winning one of the prizes
listed to the top right of this page simply send as much
Q0 Wool as you can to the city
Contest priced at 0.75 ¢τ.
You may also sell to other more competitive cities for a small
profit.

How does the Competition Work?
The Selected product may or may not be produced in a high
quantity and often the product is selected to give a more fair chance to every
player whether a beginner or long-term member.
The selected quality and retail price of the product to send is included in
every announcement, however sometimes the product itself may be hidden with only
a clue in the competition story.
Generally competitions are not suitable for the newer players or smaller cities
due to the amount needed to have a fair chance in the standings. However they
can sell the required product or something needed to produce them to those who
are willing to pay enough to earn one of the above prizes since high yields are
usually the target for these competitions.
On the last day of the competition at 23:59 the competition office is then
closed until the next one is made available.
The winners are indicated in the competition listings.

In this case Wool was selected been a product even beginner
cities could produce in a fair quantity to have a chance to win one of the above
rewards, or sell to the larger cities for a large income boost.
It also follows on from the previous contest to show how quickly a situation can
change - Everybody should be prepared for changes whether it be in prize, or
sales; the world is constantly growing and changing as the days pass-by.
The
Contest Products Trade Forum remains open during this contest to allow
the purchase of Wool for our more competitive users wanting to win one of these
fabulous prizes for a fast reputation boost without having to spend money on
coins, or buying produce for the demand from Special Buildings.
