Shortly after the Contest was completed, KaiserKempe wrote me to explain their experience with the contest,
Specifically on The Route To Silver since they took 2nd Place, and a Silver Medal in this last competition.

So without further delay let's see what they have to say.

As the contest started I was a bit confused. Wool is one of the products I couldn't produce.
But I had loads of cash, so I thought I'll buy some wool...

I wrote a thread at the board and found some suppliers. But I wanted to get more…so I instructed the market crier.
I got more and more wool, but there were no other cities buying wool in high volumes like me.
Only Osterath but his cash was much lower than mine… so I started dreaming of gold…

The contest went on and I got more and more wool.
I asked some of my trade partners which I knew from former times... Most of them could help me and knew other suppliers who supported me.
I got more and more contracts .. More than 50 contract a day, from more than 20 suppliers.
Varied Volumes up to 1 million per contract! I was very happy about that.

But then I was shocked. Elwynn had send in 10 million wool…
In my storehouse I had only 5,6 million … My dream was over but I thought the second place is nice too.

I raised the price and more and more cities started to support me…
But my cash also went down… so I started selling some of my coins, wood, stones and beer.
At Thursday I could accept all my contracts with only 7 million ¢τ left...
I waited for the evening … My plan over the contest was to send in all my wool in the last minute…
But there was a risk too... if I missed the moment I'd lose loads of money and a good ranking.

23.58 CET I went to my storehouse and sent in all my 14,330,432 wool .. 1st place…

I was happy… the time went on… only 2 minutes left… 1 minute… 30 seconds… Could I win gold?
I wasn't sure... I was sure that Elwynn had loads of wool left...
but why he hasn't sent it already? 20 seconds…10 seconds… UPDATE…

Had I been the first one? Or had he sent in some wool in the last second?
I was happy … I was sure that I had won Silver or Gold …
10 minutes later I saw that he had sent in more 8 million more Wool and won the contest ...
Impressively done … but with a high risk.

I sent him my congratulations and thanked my suppliers for their nice support
Although because I had so much support I could do that only at the board.

It was a great time… but extremely expensive for me…
All in all I paid exactly a massive 994.245.372,16 ¢τ !!!

Thanks to all my suppliers which helped me to have such a nice contest and congratulations to all cities which gained the top 100 in the contest.
