Operation Fruitation!

The King has declared that later next month it shall be a national fruit day.
Fruit will be given out at random at various market places across the country as
a way to encourage the eating of fruit.
After checking the royal storehouses however it was discovered there was only a
very small stock of Pears!
The King has issued a demand for some quality Pears, not the sort off the ground
mind you but freshly picked from the trees all across the country, or imported
from others if need be.
On his demand he requests Quality 1 Pears to be sent in as high a volume as
possible, and at a fair price too for he's offering 0.30 Â¢Ï each for every Pear
delivered during this Contest.
The King is requesting as many Quality 1 Pears as the citizens can send,
and is willing to pay a good cost towards the production
and delivery of this resource, buying at 0.30 Â¢Ï each.
This contest begins on Tuesday, 1st April 2008,
And ends on Thursday, 10th April 2008 at 23:59
To enter this contest and to have a chance at winning one of the prizes
listed to the top right of this page simply send as much
Q1 Pears as you can to the city
Contest priced at 0.30 ¢Ï.
You may also sell to other more competitive cities for a small
profit.

Each of these items add Reputation to your total score in the following format.

How does the Competition Work?
The Selected product may or may not be produced in a high
quantity and often the product is selected to give a more fair chance to every
player whether a beginner or long-term member.
The selected quality and retail price of the product to send is included in
every announcement, however sometimes the product itself may be hidden with only
a clue in the competition story.
Generally competitions are not suitable for the newer players or smaller cities
due to the amount needed to have a fair chance in the standings. However they
can sell the required product or something needed to produce them to those who
are willing to pay enough to earn one of the above prizes since high yields are
usually the target for these competitions.
On the last day of the competition at 23:59 the competition office
is then
closed until the next contest date is made available.
The winners are indicated in the competition listings.
