How Far?

Down in the capital city of Regnum there is a young worker named Harold who works in the employ of the royal castle.

Following the recent contest Harold was hired as a courier to transport several Pears from the storehouse, and back to the castle while at the same time collecting four buckets of water from the Well.

Luckily for Harold he only had to do this for the last three days of the contest and worked for several hours to complete 33 trips each day.

Unlike the other couriers Harold played this rather craftily as he went all the way to the storehouse, and loaded up several pears onto a cart leaving enough room for four buckets to fill at the well on the return trip to the castle.

After returning on the third day he received his pay, but was rather curious afterwards just how far he had travelled in those three days.

We know the distance from the Castle to the Storehouse is 165 fathoms, and the distance from the Castle to the Well is 50 fathoms. Both buildings can be reached in a straight line.

Question:
How many fathoms has Harold run in total over the three days?

Hint: Remember, he runs in both directions ...

Solution of last edition

Knock, knock, knock.
That's all that happens to me,
Used to build houses, market stalls,
or even used in production buildings,
I am used as a seat, or even as a handle,
Some even use me to create another material.
It doesn't take long to produce me,
providing you have the water ...
But how do they shape me?

What Am I?

In the above riddle the empathist was on what the product is used for, and how it is created; the largest hint was on the second to last line about water.

So of course the answer?
Wood
of course; a product created from 20 buckets of water, and used in building production, or for items such as chairs.

So for the prizes?
Congratulations to...

Dramalot
WolfsBlood
Bitterleaf

On getting the answer correct, as well as to everyone else who sent in the correct answer for the last puzzle.

These three cities were selected at random to receive the special prize of a Philosopher's Stone.

This item adds +4 to the users reputation points, and can be received without the need for any buildings or statuses.

Out of 64 entries, 58 were correct.

Good Luck for this week!

Be sure to include the question and solution in the IGM.

Please try to ensure correct spelling on your contributions.
Puzzles which clearly show no effort to check for such mistakes will not be published.
